Our fifth self-care routine comes from yogi Jennifer Grossi:
My self love routine involves a lot of movement, stillness, and some silliness.
On top of meditation, yoga, and writing, I’ve amped up one of my classic routines that I implement regularly, with a whole lot more love.
During the summer I treated myself to this ritual almost every day of applying body oil after each shower and giving my skin a massage. Now, I put florapothecarie's Create Body Oil on, and rub it in, and tell every inch of myself that I love her. I say, “I love you, body! I love you, body! I love you, skin! You do me so good! You’re amazing, and take care of me, and I am so proud of you!”

I really am so grateful for the vessel I live in. Weight will fluctuate. Wrinkles will come. Life is here to be lived. As silly as it seems, I think it makes a huge difference to bring the actual words to our minds and then our lips and then into the world - “I love you, body. You are amazing, just as you are and I appreciate you."
